This is Vermont's oldest maple farm: The Morse family has been perfecting their craft since the late 1700s. Grade A syrups range from Golden Delicate to Very Dark Strong and come in containers from decorative 1.7-ounce maple leaf bottles to half-liter growlers to sturdy plastic gallon jugs.
While you're there, taste test the Morses' infused syrups — vanilla, cinnamon, habañero and the richly flavored bourbon-barrel aged — and you'll be unable to leave without one. As you're checking out, throw in some maple sugar candies, spreadable maple cream and maple kettle corn.
